It's disgusting.

The only rationale I can think of outside of "he's still being an asshole" is that he wants to curry favor amongst mercenary quasi-military groups in anticipation of calling on them for his benefit, which I find simultaneously outlandish and rather scary.

I love the idea that these fucking army flunk outs are super soldiers.  Many of these security contractors are deeply stupid horrifically violent pieces of filth that literally cannot function in any way beyond doing murder against defenseless victims.  They would all be euthanized in any just world.  Rabid animals.
