Getting tired of hearing how far Ohtani hits the ball in batting practice. It was awesome his first year but now his approach has somehow regressed and can't seem to adjust to pitches up and in on him.

I hear ya. I'm sure Adell hits the ball hard and far in BP, but I have yet to see him drive a ball deep into the outfield. Though I did miss a few games over the weekend.

Gubi's entire repertoire is basically: Pujols's career numbers, how guys look in batting practice, and mentioning dudes who hit homers off him 35 years ago.

Throw in the 3x-per-game "[Player's name] has a chance to do some damage here" and you've got 99% of Gubi's comments, more or less.
