it was barkley and justin thomas (he's also known as JT, but timberlake wasn't there yesterday). there was one other commentator but i forget who it was. might have dan rather or barbara walters.

So close.

You're delivery was better

some days you just have to step out of your comfort zone and try something *risky, so thank you. it's all those years of teaching 12-year-olds about Mesopotamia.

*does not apply to victor's mom

if the women can wear shorts and those little tiny skirts, and if the caddies can wear shorts, then it's time to let the PGA tour players wear shorts.

besides, jason duffner in a pair of shorts would just be dreamy, but you didn't hear it from me.

Jordan and Rory are both starting out strong this morning.

-6 through 11 holes, par 70.

Stupid Golf Channel is not starting their coverage until 1 pm.

Seriously.  They had it on at 10 yesterday.

I had checked online yesterday and it listed the starting time at 1:00.  I flipped on the GC just to see the updates and they were airing the tournament.

Nice leaderboard going into the weekend.  A lot of great names near the top. Harold Varner III in the lead by one stroke.

Jordan Spieth with a couple of 65's. He recovered nicely from his four-putt double bogey. I'd like to see him win it.

Rory with a cool 63. He looks confident and relaxed out there.

Some big names who missed the cut: Kuchar, Rahm, Mickelson, Moore, Fowler, Johnson.

I remember when I was the only one here who hated Reed.

I've been on that train since the infamous "I'm one of the top 3 players in the world" comment.

and this doosh hasn't done a single thing to make me change my mind.

I'd be happy to see him miss the cut by one stroke in each tournament for the rest of the year.
