Hell of a game by the Angels. Beating one of the best pitchers in the AL, if not all of baseball and a first place team -- despite another stinker of a start by Skabbs.

What is going on with Skabbs?  Can’t even get into the 6th?

Why is Simba hitting into a ton of DPs?   Just a fluke?   Hitting the ball hard at people?

This just in, I hate Marwin Gonzalez!!!!

I think that's what Ausmus was saying in regards to Simmons and his hitting into so many DP's.  As mentioned by another poster, he hits a lot of ground balls and most of them are hit hard, making it easy to turn double plays.  

As for Skaggs, who knows?  His pitch count was high again in the early innings, which has been normal for him the last few years.  

And by the way, I don't like Marwin Gonzalez either.  I won't say I hate him though, but it's close

In 40 games he's already had 36 DP opportunities. He's an aggressive hitter who's getting his first chance to be a run producer. It's going to happen
