Doolittle didn't say that, however. His comment wasn't a compliment.

JA Happ is another one of those guys who got a multi year contract and got paid quite a bit and is not pitching too great.  He gave up 6 in 3 2/3 against Baltimore.  His ERA on the season is now 5.16.

Mike Minor is currently 2nd in the MLB (behind Bellinger) with a 3.3 WAR. His stats are good, but they don't seem that remarkable. Could someone explain why his WAR is so high?

Dave martinez takes scherzer our after 6 innings and 109 pitches leading 1-0. Reasonable. 

 

The bullpen gives up a run and there are two guys on so he brings in Doolittle, who lets those two guys score (and then 3 more) they’re losing 6-1. 

 

Not sure what a managers supposed to do, they’re about to go to 19-30.
