been thinking about getting one. anyone here have one or ever used one? thoughts, opinions?

You thinking about getting into the gym, tank?

I would suggest starting off going to a real gym. Even one of these places like fitness 19. I think their dues are only like 9 bucks a month.

Get into it, and once you have a routine, you can decide if youll really use a home gym, or end up putting it on craigs list in a year.

I have a Weider version of a total gym. I use it while I'm watching baseball or hockey at 4 AM before work. It's nice for helping me get loosened up and for working the back but it's never going to help you build any muscle

i'm at a point where i don't really care about building muscle. i want to tone and tighten up. i also want to get in more workouts. i walk, but i can't seem to go everyday, and during the cold weather it's a bit tougher for me because i don't have much in the way of cold weather clothing. i figured having something i can do at home would be a better solution.

what's the weider version called? and do you remember what you paid for it (if you don't mind me asking)?

I've got myself a nice powerrack, along with weights, bar and everything for a decent price.

If you're down with doing strength stuff then I'd go with that. Obviously age, injury history and goals are a big factor.

I prefer buying home total gym for all this GYMs.. I bought it last year and completely satisfied with the goods I ordered the most popular model for that time - xls. Now i want to buy for my parents another one - 1100 model

Looks like Chuck forgot to lock the bot gate before taking off for Thanksgiving.
