Who had the second best round?    Yep, X-man (-5, 66), and he's also just one shot out of the lead.      He showed at the US Open that he likes links style courses.

Tommy has low round of the day, bogey free 65. He's shown that if he gets it going he can make birds in bunches.

I'm encouraged. 

Reed just made the cut on the line.

i didn't realize he was included in the cut list posted.

i watched a bit earlier and assumed he was safely in for the weekend

Todd Hamilton hasn't done much on the Tour since his surprise Open victory in 2004. His only other win occurred that year at the Honda Classic.

He's on the Champions Tour now but gets to tee it up every year in the British Open. He'll be exempt until he's 60. Nice perk.

Tiger inches away from going into the Barry Burn on 18th. Does the smart thing and lays up.

Just tuned in in time to see him finish up with a 66. Good for Tiger, good for golf. Now lets see if he can put a Sunday together.

X-man is tied for the lead now @ -7.

Zack J just sunk about  a 70  footer to retake the lead. Going to be a fun watch this weekend.
