Still, one brewery producing another’s beers to the degree that they are indiscernible from those produced at their home site is no easy feat, nor one Silva or McIlhenney are taking lightly. According to Silva, Green Flash will conduct critical analysis of the beers produced at each facility to make sure color, bitterness, and alcohol-by-volume are spot-on.

Damn what a terrible job, I feel bad for the persons responsible for this task.

Wish I could make the Bootleggers event, well the whole Summer Fan Fest in general.

On a different day would there be enough people to do an Angels Win Bottle Share?

Twitter peeps are doing an #AngelsFamily bottle share at Bootlegger's on August 3rd.  You could always go then!  : )

I was hearing the rumors that Alpine had reached an agreement to up production. Smog City got off the ground by using the brewhouse at Tustin Brewing. It is cool when like minds can help each other out and envision more than just mere competition.

Drake's Triple Hopped Swap last night was ridiculous. Nothing better than a mellow IPA on cask. Well, maybe a few things like bacon but it is right up there nonetheless.

Yeah, I don't remember the process they use for aging or when they release it. That name sounds about right. I think they had two sours, but one was "more special" and limited and seasoned release.

I don't remember much from Deschutes. We did too many flights and when the dude found out we were from SoCal and into beer he basically ran through everything they made. Just confusing for a casual beer trip.

great beer.

you should come up and have some at the brewery. fantastic place.

good food too.

I may have to do just that. Lucky 13 & the Alabama Shakes was a pretty awesome combo last night. My head still hurts really good.

Went to the Verdugo Anniversary on Saturday. The 2011 120 Minute IPA was incredible. Beachwood Dank Epoch Triple IPA was great too. Got to give props to Noble though as many had Naughty Sauce for the first time and were very impressed.
