Would that new rule also allow Dipoto to trade himself for Tim Lincecum? Reasoning being that the dude has a good arm and could play 3B, so fair value would be giving up a top prospect GM in himself.  Seems like a trade Dipoto would consider. Though he might have to throw Paxton in as a sweetener.

that would actually be pretty interesting.  27 games in a row then 4 days off.  Time off over laps for different teams.  

Or just play the season straight through and add 5 roster spots.
