I will admit, I am not an advanced metrics guy...if he could post this slash line 250/.350/.450/.800, I'd be very happy.  I just dont see it.  I am not enamored with him playing a chunk of time at 1B.
 

He basically did that line in '16, and he had a .333 OBP average on a four-year run coming into last season. He's a better bet at posting that OBP on this team than about half the lineup.

He isn't great, but he's far from a problem.
