Nice investment by MLB.  Being rewarded for adopting streaming media early on.  I knew that it was being used by the NHL but I didn't know it was being used by all the other entities listed.

suckers.  Whatever is powering the video streaming of MLB and NHL just sucks.  Takes forever to queue up and stream.  Half the time I just go to Youtube to find the video since it won't load.

pretty good article on the rise of bamtech.  Best example they use is HBO planned to spend $900 million over 3 years to create HBO Now which is the standalone service, not HBO Go.  Bamtech did it for $50 million in less than 4 months.

Weird, I've used mlb.tv from day one and never had any issues, everything loads fast and never buffers. The recently added 60fps looks amazing. At Bat is great to me too.
