I have yet to see an official announcement from the Angels regarding the Maitain signing but they have put one out about the Pearson deal adding money to the pool. Obviously trying to game the international market right now is playing with fire in light of the Braves penalties, but have you gotten any clarity on this?

I have been led to believe that the Angels can't do this. 

You have to say which pool you're using at the time of the deal, which I assume means the time of the agreement and not the physical. The fact that the Maitan and Soto deals became public leads to me to believe that MLB paperwork has already happened, and not just a handshake.

Livan Soto right next to Trent Deveaux. And then read the scouting reports...

There is no rhyme or reason to their order. Their scouting grades are inaccurate and their summaries are outdated.
