El farolito in placentia isnt underrated, it always has a line. But i think its mostly locals. I doubt people from out of the area know about it 

El farolito is well known. My family has gone there for 30 some odd years.  They have multiple locations. One...Raymond and the 91. I think it’s Raymond. It’s ok.  It not as good as the placentia location. They also have one in downtown Fullerton which kinda sucks. I was excited when they opened it, close to home, but was sorely disappointed.

Inka Mama’s in Foothill Ranch and a couplenofnother locations is really good Peruvian.

 

Don Gustavo’s in Mission Viejo is good for Mexican.

Aanyone been to the olde ship in fullerton? I was sesrching for a place i could get irish food a fee days ago, and foubd it (with the dish i was looking for). But no idea if the restaraunt is any good or not

Yes. Great fish and chips. Not sure I would consider olde ship Irish food though, more English.

I think the one on Raymond is unrelated. That said they have hands down the best al pastor tacos anywhere. Stop by when they open up to taco stand at 6.

Highly recommend! My family has been going there for ages. Always make sure to swing by every time I’m in OC. Was there three weeks ago. and was there a couple days ago. Love that spot.  It’s an English pub though, not Irish.

In Vegas - there is a steak place Vic & Anthony’s on Fremont street area we hit up every time we are in town. Very classic spot. Amazing steak, wine and cocktails.

Hey @mrwicked, if you want to eat some good sushi off the beaten path check out my buddy's place Sushi Bistro off 6th and Balboa up in the Richmond District. You'll love the food and the reggae soundtrack.

yes...the owner of Ho Sum Bistro and I tested for our blackbelts together a few years ago. Great guy. When I saw him a few months ago he said they were close to reopening. Little surprised actually, I thought he said it was a matter of weeks.

Total hole in the wall, cash only with a tagged up atm outside around the corner. Its at the corner of a small strip mall with a mexican market in it.

I usually order a carne aside burrito with sour cream and guacamole.

High Park taphouse in Mission Viejo. Good pizza and bar foods. Formerly an Oggis. They went independent and it’s better

Paul’s Place locations in Stanton, Los Al, Anaheim (maybe one more ?) - chicken sandwich or chicken salad anytime I go. 

Gourmet Pie (cypress) breakfast is good and they have a great happy hour 

Mad Greek in Stanton. Gyro and fries most of the time I go , but they also have a solid Greek salad and roasted chicken

This taco truck has been showing up in Buena Park after 6:45pm on a daily basis.  Beach Blvd. and Orangethorpe

Cops and firefighters love the place, so it's unlikely they will be evicted.  I've been going there 1-2x per week now.
