my oh my, its like buying tires for your car and you only buy three. You change owners, GM's and coaches, but don't change the manager....I never understood that and thought Scioscia should have been gone years ago.

Sosh pushed plenty of right buttons that post-season.   That plus it being 15 seasons ago = let it go!

i think it's the idea that he can't see the forrest because the trees are in the way. it turned out to be an inconsequential move, but the prevailing goal is to cling to anything to prove a point about what a terrible manager sosh is. there isn't a poster here who believes sosh is an errorless manager - his faults are well known by all of us - but this incident from a game they won en route to winning a WS title (the very next night, in fact) is a petty argument.

Dump him or don't dump him, doubt it will effect much except more room around the after game spread and Pujols position in batting order.  Either way, the Angels will basically remain Trout, now Upton, and a mediocre supporting cast.

He's entering his 19th season as Angels manager, last year of the stupid 10yr contract, longest tenured manager in MLB.  An argument to dump him could hardly be labeled a "rush".
