Twins appear to be back on track, so this game really means very little. Meaning...I'm starting to feel hyped on Richards. Hoping for a run at cy young next year. Always thought he had the stuff, if he could just stay healthy.

You are partially right,  September games are technically just part of the win loss column. However if you fail miserably in September when you are just 25 games to the end of the season it tips the scales. 

You can make up ground in April through August but in September you are out of time to wait for a better series next week. 

This is when champions are made, not in May or June.
