They've finally run out of desire after 152 games.   The next 10 games could be very ugly, maybe this becomes a 2-11 or 3-10 finish to the season?

The Angels got away with Norris and the relievers at home against Texas. Not so sure they can be as successful in Minute Maid with the Astros bouncing balls of that steam train.

yeah.  if they just weren't playing him (or chavez i think was the other one) then you'd say well played, if you aren't good enough to be needed on the field in the last week of the season then you don't really deserve the bonus.  but if the contracts explicitly stated "relief appearances" or "starts" and they are getting crafty then it seems pretty shady.

It's cheap, but Norris could've avoided the situation by not sucking ass for most of the second half. Doubt they'd have reservations about using him in relief if his ERA was under 3.
