middle infielder apparently...not sure if he plays any third...with the extreme suckitude at 2b and 3b he probably gets some playing time

That's a fine line though. He knows how to draw a walk and he looked reasonable during ST. Interesting about Cron going back though.

I'm guessing Fontana gets some starts at 2B. He looked really good in ST. Impressed Scioscia I'm told. 

Anyone we put at 2B is better than Espinosa.

And... Marte hits lefthanded pitching better than Cron, so a platoon of Valbuena and Marte is a better option if Pujols is ready to DH again. 

I was hoping they'd promote Cowart though, so yeah, weird.

was Nolan on the 40 person roster? I see Cowart isn't, and isn't he out of options? Maybe it's an issue where they don't want to risk losing Cowart if they see this as a 1-2 week move
