Joe Maddon 2nd world series since he  handed the Angels their 1st championship, while Sosh has been fartting up the wind in the dug outs, playing outdated 80s baseball, when the rest of league is raise their level of play with analytics! Angels made a huge mistake in choosing Sosh over Dipoto, Sosh is living on borrowed time

Sosh isn't the only one living on borrowed time.

How much did Dipoto pay you to say that?

A nebula is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases. Originally, nebula was a name for any diffuse astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way

This dude is special.

Oh yeah, except there are probably only about a billion nebulas in the universe, all formed the same way, all full of gas.

Probably takes 2 WS wins to make it to the HOF as manager. I think you meant Francona (may have 3 wins in 10 years after this one is over).

there are 23 managers that have been inducted into the hall because of their managerial prowess.   4 have won 1 WS.  4 have won 0 WS.

Bochy is the only manager with 3 who isn't in as he's still active, but his .505 regular season win% is the second lowest among managers with more than 2.  The other is connie mack who had a regular season win% of .486.  But he managed for 53 years until the age of 87.

Gene Mauch is the only manager with 24 or more years of managing without a WS title and he's the only one not in the HOF.

Interestingly, Scioscia comps most closely to Leo Durocher.  Both with a similar regular season win%, both with 1 WS win.  MS behind him by 7 years managed.  If MS manages for another 7 years, he's pretty much a lock for the HOF.

Seven more seasons takes him to 24 seasons as a manager.   Wins would be over 2,000, only a small fraternity has done that (Mack, McGraw, LaRussa, Cox, Torre, Sparky, Bucky Harris, McCarthy, Alston, and Durocher).  He would likely move above Durocher and Alston into the 9th spot on the Top 10 wins list.    Although Bochy and Francona are serious candidates as well for that Top 10 list ultimately.
