ITT shuts its' doors.

My middle stepdaughter went to ITT Tech. They sold her on the wide availability of jobs, which apparently never existed. They promised employment assistance when she graduated. This "assistance" consisted of a handout of two printed pages of potential employers, about two-thirds of which were no longer in business, and the remainder of which seemed annoyed that ITT was still telling students to call them about jobs. A total waste of time and money.

After high school two of my friends who had no intention of signing up and knew more than 99% of the people teaching there met  with an ITT recruiter and I tagged along.  It was one of those times in life you never forget because of how scummy the guy came off.  The only comparison I can come up with is that of a used car salesman but that would be insulting to them.

my best friend graduated from college with a two-year IT degree, but once he got home he enrolled in ITT for some reason. ended up getting a job at long beach memorial hospital in their tech dept. i always wondered why his college degree wasn't enough to get a job, but whatever.

I did the same in March 1987, 5 years after graduating from LB State with a B.A. in Math.   But instead of ITT, I enrolled in Computer Learning Center.   After graduating with a computer programming certificate in late January 1988, I found a job just a month and a half after that, and have been in that field for going on 29 years now.

And the Atlanta campus holds the dubious NCAA men's basketball record for most points allowed in a game.

I am continually impressed with your knowledge of obscure facts.

But holy shit...these clowns allowed 258 points in a single game.

Nice to see another code monkey on this site.
