Stick a fork in the Note series.  Might need to stick a fork in Samsung phones. 

 

I think this might be a sign of things to come in the phone market.  So many companies are one upping each other at faster and faster speeds.  It's now become less than a year before the next greatest comes out.  And they are putting more and more power into the phones.  It seems obvious now, that in order to come out faster, they are sacrificing safety and/or testing.  And IMO, it's not going to help that in a panic move, they may come out with the Galaxy S8 earlier to compensate for this debacle.

Samsung Electronics says to sell refurbished Galaxy Note 7s

Outside of the fire danger.  I hear they are a really good phone that people want.  My guess is, the refurb phones will have a smaller battery.
