Is this sustainable?   He has the stuff (only 1 HR allowed), and has had solid control (only 4 BBs) so far since coming here.

I think he could regress a bit AO but he's a big ground ball guy against both sides of the plate so far this season and as long as our infield defense executes and makes the plays he should continue to prosper.

I figure as much, but in my opinion, with so many volatile relief options in the minors with upside that can be attained for cheap, Salas has no business even being filler.  Ricky Nolasco strikes me as a filler.  Fernando Salas strikes me as someone that shouldn't be in the major leagues under any circumstance.

Yeah, they both are Scotty.  I guess we've paid for them, might as well use them for now.  Certainly by September 1st we should see some of our minor league talent up here for the last month, and then maybe Salas will be released.

Well we have CJ Wilson on injured reserve, he was formerly a good relief guy, if that counts for anything.
