US doctors call for universal healthcare

Three a year are covered 100% without a copay or deductible.  Even after that they are covered at a much higher rate so people have one sniffle and they go to the Dr.

It is very important to go get a physical once a year.  Other than that it is important not to go to the Dr. unless it is needed.  There is a huge push to educate the public and also get people more healthy (smoking cessation, encouraging better fitness, better eating, etc).  Most insurance companies now offer incentives for exercising and getting a physical every year.

There are more than 920,000 licensed physicians in the US. So your article is basing itself on the opinion of 2% of the medical community. Socialists  at their finest. 

 

 

Dude, its a proposal put forth by 2,000 physicians - it wasn't a poll taken. We have no idea what percentage of all doctors actually support this view, but probably its a lot.

In any industry you can find 2% of whack jobs that want to change the world. They even have meetings and assign someone to take minutes,  get t-shirts printed up and then they get fired for looking at cat videos all day at work.
