When was the last time we signed a guy out of Japan or South Korea directly?  Shigetoshi Hasegawa?  Seems like the Angels are never in on asian market players trying to jump ship.  I was hoping we were in on Yu Darvish when he was coming to the MLB.

The dodgers are required to pay $13 million the first year and the rest in year 2 to Kung Fu's Japanese team.
