I think the second one is pretty decent.  I just have a problem with the idea that one is either "liberal" or "conservative".  I think it is way more subjective than that.

Evidently everyone has an agenda except for libertarians and reason.com. The bottom line, Adam, is that we think whatever disagrees or challenges our worldview is biased, or an agenda, or ignorant. As you so nicely exemplify.

 

Glen, why is the first one "terrible?" At the least, I think there is some truth to it - that liberals and conservatives have different cognitive styles. And yes, I do think that liberals tend to be more empathic than conservatives, and that conservatives tend to be better at organizational type stuff.

Also, I actually agree that one doesn't have to be either liberal or conservative, although I do find that people tend to veer one way or another, and that they are different cognitive styles - as the first article pointed out.
