Bluetooth Headphones

So I bought a pair of bluetooth headphones for when I walk the dog and maybe one day actually running. I have only used them twice and they cut in and out like crazy. Some people have said having them in your pocket isn't great for the connection, but my pocket is like two feet away. That can't be real can it? Maybe an arm band would be better? Or maybe the headphones just suck? Any advice on how to make it better? It's just for music and listening to it cut in and out drives me ****ing crazy. I would rather watch Salas be the closer.

Bummer.

Sounds like a bad connection. I do the same and have zero issues...I can even leave my phone in another room and take out the trash.

What's weird is we have a few shitty bluetooth speakers given to us and all of them work a reasonable amount of distance for being pretty cheap. So even if your headphones were poorly made they should still function at that distance.

Try to return them and test them out in the store.

I would return the headphones.  Bluetooth has a range of at least 25 feet and can go through walls, being in your pocket should never be a problem.  I have a pair of bluetooth headphones that are 7 years old that work with my phone in my pocket.

Try placing your phone in your pocket with the top end facing upwards. The antenna may be placed near the top of your phone which may improve the connection to your bluetooth piece.

I use Jaybird Bluebuds which are phenomenal earbuds, but every now and then the reception is poor.  So I simply disconnect the buds, restart bluetooth on the phone, and turn the buds back on to reconnect.
