Los Angeles Rams thread

philly kicks a field goal but rams cited for some kind of "leverage" infraction. looks like a completely bogus call, even according to the fox NFL guy. field goal points removed and eagles get a gift first down, but rams have held them and the eagles will now kick another field goal. eagles up 37-35.

It's confirmed by Eagles coach that Wentz has a torn ACL and is out for the rest of the year.   I hate to see any player, especially a potential NFL MVP, go down like that.

Regarding Philly running 85 plays, a case of the Rams missing Barwin and Webster too much plus Ogletree being far less than 100%?    No NFL team, especially a Wade coached defense, should be allowing anywhere nears 85 plays to be run.

Rams offense was solid, only 45 plays but close to 310 yards.   Why didn't Gurley run more often.   He was having his way on the 13 carries he had.   Maybe more rushes in the first half impact it's result (Goff struggled then), and maybe the game's result?

All of that said, it's still remarkable to be 9-4 with a rookie head coach, after the abomination that was the 2016 season.

Injuries are piling up now though.   Barwin, Webster, Woods, Ogletree, Haverstein, and Whitworth

Hope all but Webster (out for season) are back for Seattle.   That is the division title right there.

57 yard TD run, not 40. Now it 40-0 in third quarter.

My bad I thought they we're already in Seahawks territory.

Now some extra curricular activities off of a late hit out of bounds after the kick. Seahawks could have tacked on another 15 yards but one of their guys retaliates and creates off setting penalties.

How did the Seahawks win 8 games? The Rams are wrecking them.

Biggest halftime lead in a road game in franchise history

Biggest Seahawks loss in Pete Carroll era

SEVEN sacks of Wilson, only 149 total yards allowed

That just isn’t supposed to happen in Seattle.   But, it did!

Just about assured a home game in round 1 of the post-season, as very likely NFC West champs

But Philly and Minnesota are the likely bye teams in round 1.
