Remember Tulowitzki Being Available?

Well he isn't anymore. At least not for the Blue Jays and possibly for the rest of the season. Tulowitzki and his made of glass reputation took another crack and this time his shoulder blade by colliding with center fielder Pillar on a pop up.

 

 

 

Talk about an upside down career, Toronto got the Coors Field effect in Tulo with his a meager .232/.314/.368/.682 since joining the Jays.

 

Now is there anyone wishing the Angels made that trade?

I was always weary of making that trade.    And Toronto is much more offense friendly than Angel Stadium.

Great LB alum and great talent at Coors, but only decent/solid on the road against NL pitching.

Too much money owed as well

Dipoto would not have traded our young controllable pitching to TUlo....Arte maybe, not Dipoto.  He spent the time and energy to acquire that talent.  With Aybar at SS, Tulo was not coming here.

 There's always the upcoming off season. Starry eyed Moreno could see Tulo selling a few extra season tickets, plus the years left on Tulo's contract makes it very palatable. Big splash redux.

I don't think it will affect the Jays one bit.  They have such a stacked offense.  He'll just rest up for October.  

 

If the Angels got him.  It would have been a typical move.  Stack where you don't need it for more money.

Goins and Tulo have about identical hitting stats for Toronto so it's not like he makes an impact on the roster or the dl.
