Playoffs

Since it's looking more and more everyday like the Angels will be hitting the links come October, what team are you going to be rooting for? I'll be going for Piitsburgh, my mom's whole side of the family is from Pittsburgh and my grandma still tells me stories about growing up watching and listening to Roberto Clemente. Hopefully they can knock off the Cards but at this point it doesn't look like anbody can. But as we all know, regular season records don't mean anything come playoff time. As for the AL I'll have to go with the Astos. It's always cool to see an unexpected young team go far in the playoffs (unless they act like that punk team up in KC).

Mets vs Jays, although I'd be willing to root for a Cards vs Jays WS even though the Cards have played in it recently.

I want the best pitching vs the best offense.

Apart from the Yankees and Dodgers, I don't have any particular issue with any team likely to be in the post season.

I will be rooting against the Royals, the Cardinals and to a lesser extent against the Yankees. I will be especially rooting against the Dodgers and the Rangers.

Jays vs Cubs is what I'd like to see most but I'm not rooting for anyone in particular.

If I have to pick a team to follow, probably Toronto or the Mets. Would like to see the Cubs do something, but if they win the wild card game they would get St. Louis in the NLDS. Not likely.

That last part is implied. I would have no objection to buying some Cubs or Pirates SWAG and going to Chavez for a playoff game.

I don't root for other teams.  Once they Angels are done I'm fully onto the Ducks and the NHL.  I only hope for one thing, that the Dodgers do horribly.  The more terrible they are the better.

After the Angels are done I root for good baseball, underdog stories, great series. The National League playoffs are going to be incredible. When the Cubs and their young talent or the Pirates are the worst teams in the playoff picture it's going to be great. Assuming the Angels are out of it, I'll root for the Cubs to smack down the Blue Jays.
