lame. literally half the teams in the NBA make the playoffs.  Not the case in MLB. Now stop trying to make a comparison between the two.

Good break to get their minds cleared and to start anew. Just wish Detroit wasn't coming to town, but at least we won't have to face Verlander and Scherzer. Definitely caught a break on multiple accounts.

His point is well taken. Sixteen of the 30 teams in the NBA make the playoffs. Baseball would be playing the World Series in January if they had the same proportion of teams in the playoffs
