I have nothing to back this up, but it sure seems like Melky is one of those hitters that always kill us.

 

.323 BA in 54 career games against us, but the OPS is nothing special, .788. Only two HR.

Actually, if we send him down, we have to give him back to the Rockies, since he was a Rule V pick. At this point, we might as well keep him. Rosters expand in three weeks.

Seriously. And as a guy who knows baseball, I barely even understand what he's talking about half the time. I can't imagine a majority of casual watchers have any idea what he's talking about.

I just don't buy it.  Iannetta is one of the worst hitters in MLB and can't throw anything out.  Give Perez a chance, how much worse could he be?

You guys complain about the offense (and rightfully so) but the starting pitching has been just as horrible lately. 5.23 ERA (and rising) the last 14 days.

 

This entire team just sucks.
