Team isn't the same without Trout in the lineup.

A team is never the same when a key player is out, but they scored 5 runs tonight. If the pitching staff hadn't completely melted down that could have been enough to win. They had the lead at several points in the game.

This was just a poor effort tonight and their heads, for whatever reason, weren't in it. CJ Wilson is afraid of the Astros and isn't pitching tomorrow. They will play better

My only concern is why the angels make dumb mistakes and errors in big games. I think we had like 7 errors in that 09 alcs. Last year's alds showcased some inexplicable base running and trout losing the ball in the lights. I really wonder why this franchise just buckles under pressure.

Obviously the team is massively worse without Trout but the offense spotted CJ with a lead 3 separate times and the dude coughed it up each time(usually in the bottom half of the inning). Dude can be counted on to come up small in these situations and he did so with flying colors

So it's Scioscia's fault that a team makes physical errors in a playoff series six years ago and Aybar had a bad game yesterday and that Gio is his best all around 2nd baseman yet isn't that good defensively regardless of who they are playing.
