It was about Tim Geithner's brother soliciting sex from a male prostitute.

Journalism has a real black eye tonight.

He actually is in charge of Conde Nast. So he's his own big name, without having an even more famous brother.

The reaction in the journalism community that I see is swiftly against the story. Doesn't make it right or wrong.

gawker defends and says it will always put C-level execs cheating on spouses.

Looks like they now have an issue with how the business side of the house overruled the editorial side of the house and removed the post. Interesting look at how new media is playing out. Gawker Media was one of the first, if not the first, online only media entity that unionized.
