i actually saw the game over at my friends house. i thought greinke showed a lot of moxie standing in their and giving a shoulder charge to a dude that is SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than him.

 

i do think he brought it on himself though when he talked some shit to quentin. hitters often times will bluff at the mound a bit on their way to first base after being hit, but when the pitcher talks some shit to you after hitting you? as a baseball player, as a cleanup hitter, as a man....dude, you've got to charge the mound.

 

i give greinke a lot of credit for balls if not brains in this way.

Since Greinke didn't hit him on purpose, he was probably yelling that to Quentin. If he were baiting Carlos, the catcher would have gotten involved much quicker.
