Yeah, everyone I know would rather have Smith than Kaep.

It's the offense and the play calling. They ask him to not turn the ball over, Nate. I'm sure if they had weapons and deep threats they would air it out.

Arguing about stats is moot. I only care about the team winning and he does that.

Suh just cost himself some money. Going into his free agent year, the guy tried to keep clean all season so that he didn't scare away potential suitors.

I am sure he will get a nice payday, but could have been a lot better if he showed he could keep it under control.

Suh suspension lifted. Gets a slap on the wrist and a $70K fine

NFL's discipline policy makes no sense. Suh was considered a "first-time offender" when it comes to player safety violation, thus the fine. Now, that makes no sense considering the guy has a history of being fined countless times for player safety violations

Well, apparently the NFL revised their rule on this, and it makes no sense really. If you violate player safety, first time offense is a fine(obviously). Once you have violated player safety, you then have some randomly assigned 32-game window where you must not violate player safety or else you get suspended. If you go 32 straight games without any incident, your slate is wiped clean. If you then violate player safety after that 32 game window has passed, you'd be treated as a "first-time offender" yet again, and be fined

Suh apparently just made the cut, so instead of a suspension he gets a fine. He now must go incident free over his next 32 games for his slate to be wiped clean. Why 32 games? No freakin idea...
