2014-15 ncaa basketball season thread

Kyle Collinsworth picked up his 4th triple double of the season.  He actually has all four in the last 12 games. Tonight he has 17 points, 11 boards, and 11 assists.  Pretty impressive.  He tied the single season record tonight.  Kind of a cool record to have.

With Collingsworth and Haws doing their thing, it's makes the Pepperdine upset win at Provo earlier this month all the more crazy.

 

And then Pepperdine goes and nearly takes Gonzaga to OT at Malibu last night.

First time in many years that Pepperdine is relevant in CBB.

AO- both Collinsworth and WInder were puking before, during, and after the game.  I really have no idea why they even played.  They were terrible.  They hurt more than they helped.  

 

Having said that, Pepperdine is a solid team and they return everyone next year.  They will be tough next year.  Stacy Davis is legit.

Seems that throughout the country, the illness bug is going around sports.

The mumps in the NHL, numerous players in basketball and hockey getting the flu, etc.

And yesterday, another double digit loss.

Plus, now word comes in that asst cosch Eric Brown is an F word aficionado. That and lack of post player development = fire this clown Monson!

And it was a real low scoring game (1-0) for being played at offense happy Jackie Robinson Stadium.

LB has good pitching, just no offense outside of Hampson.
