LOL

To quote the Fonz, I was wr...., I was wr..., I was not right about the LB/K-St prediction.

The defense showed up finally, although to quote the late Chick Hearn, K-St couldn't throw a pea in the ocean until late in the first half.

McKnight finally showed what he did at FGCU, although he can't throw a FT in the ocean. Branford Jones is not the best player, but may be the glue, as he is a solid fundamentals guy. Caffey and Lamb struggled, and tried to do too much. The freshmen continue to show signs of being really solid in a year or two. David Samuels is a different player from a year ago, much more confident. When you double-double against a K-St, that is solid work.

UCI is still the clear BWC favorite. Too much inside with Davis II healthy again, and the perimeter is solid with Young and Nelson anchoring it.

LB will likely battle UCSB for 2nd spot.

Face it Lou, the Bruins have a solid team.

Top 3 in the PAC-12, maybe 2nd spot behind UofA

Powell, Alford, Issac Hamilton, Looney and Parker make for a rock solid starting lineup.

The key for them will be how much the bench contributes.

I was surprised that LB was competitive on the glass, with the size that UCLA has.

It was frustrating to lose a 9 pt. 2nd half lead to U-Dub last night.

Williams-Goss is the real deal, and could well challenge for 1st team all-PAC12 honors.

There ain't anyone as smooth of a player in the BWC. Dude is always seemingly under control.

Caffey is good, but is the antithesis of Williams-Goss...too much one on one and trying impossible plays.

Oh, and Temi Yussef is a stud. If only he was 6-9 and not 6-7.

Of course that would have meant the PAC12 recruiting him hard in all likelihood.

Much of his 250 lbs. is already muscle, very unusual for an 18 year-old freshman.

His basketball IQ is really good too.
