Brennan Boesch hit a towering hr

David Freese hit a hr to dead CF

Efren Navarro is 1-2 with BB

and Matt Shoemaker has pitched 6 scoreless innings in going for his 16th win

 

what would have happened if someone said this at the beginning of the year?

It's truly incredible how many players have contributed to the teams success this year. They have so much depth offensively. Pitching depth was lookin great as well before the unfortunate injuries to Skaggs and Richards, but the added depth/strength of the pen has helped offset that a bit

Well, I did predict Amezaga hitting a home run in Oakland for us that fateful night for the A's .
