Trout 489 ft home run

Recommended Posts

@JeffFletcherOCR: The 2 longest HRs of Mike Trout's career have both been hit in KC, both against former teammates. Jason Vargas (489). Ervin Santana (463)

Too bad we don't play the Pirates this year.

I wonder how the home run tracker estimate the distances of these home runs.. Trout home run vs Santana and this home run don't seem to far off distance wise from each other, maybe this one is more a line drive shot. LOL @ the Royals saying 445 ft,

I don't have any faith that they get the parabola of each shot correctly, the differences in height when the ball lands, etc.

Lotsa guesswork involved.

Espn was clearly wrong in their calculation. Had it not been impeded, it would have continued circling the earth, gradually slowing, then reversing the earth’s rotation.

…Resulting in Superman being able to stop the Angels from signing Pujols to that contract.

Next comes the Home Run Derby..........

you know. That's the event that nobody watches because it's stupid..........

and you know what they say about the Home Run Derby..........

he will never be the same........

it will ruin his swing.......

Looking forward to the Mike Trout Home Run Derby thread.

I would LOVE to see Trout in the Home Run Derby.

I don't buy into the swing ruining stuff at all.

Yeah, cause Trumbo was anything but a head case after his HR Derby appearance.

Not comparing the two at all, but its a day of swings and approaches you would never do otherwise.

No reason for it. Play in the All Star game, pass on the HR Derby. Nobody cares about it anyway.
