if i were the city officials, i would demand the anaheim name goes back into the team name and los angeles was removed permanently.

Just a hunch that would go against the $3 billion TV contract that the Angels signed.

Arte is trying to improve the fan experience. Something that Anaheim has been reluctant to do. Anaheim is no longer in the name. So the Angels moving to another OC city is no big deal. Arte knows what he's doing and what needs to be done for both the fans and his bottom line.

Exactly why he wants assurance from Anaheim if he spends $100's of millions on upgrading the park. The bottleneck isn't Legends or Aramark...it's the outdated facility.

The $150M that Arte is offering to put into the stadium won't do much to fix that problem. That would require a complete reconstruction to make room in those narrow walking areas near the concessions. I think most of his stadium focus will be on luxury boxes, luxury seating like the Dodgers & Yankees and the clubhouses. He will rely on all of his newly planned restaurants to feed the crowd. He might pull the fences in for some of his aging investments.
