All 3 games decided by one run

Considering the 3 losses on the home stand were all extra inning affairs, you have to think that with a healthy Josh Hamilton in the lineup they get at least two of those if not all three. They just need to stay close the next few weeks until Calhoun and Hamilton get back and not be 9-12 games out when they get back like the last two seasons.

The games were entertaining, but the team really need to win one more in the series. This still isn't the start they needed to get off to.

Weaver and CJ need to carry the load the next couple games, the pen is going to be gassed.

Because of our bad Aprils in 2013 and 2012 we are too worried about every single game and series.  7-8 is not a bad start.  5-10 is.  Now that said, we need to take One Game At A Time (ogat) and not dwell on our past losses.  Hopefully we are in contention when Hamilton and Calhoun get back.  If we are I think we will have an exciting year.  One sense of pessimism, 7-8 can turn into 9-16 and dig us a whole that we like the last two years, can't dig ourselves out of.

Thanks to our bullpen. Angels should had swept the A's. The starting pitching did well.

Bad bullpen, atrocious bottom of the line up hitting and no Josh Hamilton and could had won all 3 games.

I have much more promise this season though because of the starting pitching. Pujols seems to gotten off to a nice start. Trout is Trout. Unfortunate about Hamilton, because it looked like MVP Hamilton before his injury. Our bottom of the lineup hitting must improve somehow.

The bottom of the lineup has been bad, but they are mostly veteran players that we know what we will get from them by the end of the year (Howie , Aybar, Iannetta)
