The only difference between Choo and Calhoun is an elbow over the plate.

well, and the other thing.

My two cents. I think calhoun can absolutely be a .265/.340+/.440+ player with some speed and decent pop mixed in. I don't know if he's got 20 home runs in him, or a 'good' OBP (.350+) like some on here believe.

That said, if he were to put up something in the .270/.350/.450 range, I would be more than happy with that given the money he's going to be paid. He doesn't have to be a stud, but if he can be anything from average to good, it was the right move trading trumbo (with his upcoming raise).

Lucky for us we have a good offense already in place. And like others have pointed out, if pujols and hamilton merely be their expected selves, with trout being trout, then the rest of these guys just need to be 'normal' and we have a great offense.
