Cory brought up the show in another thread and it got me to look it up for nostalgic purposes and low and behold a day ago the show got the complete go for a movie that starts shooting in January.

Thoughts?

I can't wait for it. They start shooting in January I believe. Apparently it takes place about 6 months after the finale. Wonder if Vinny is still going to be married.

Another show that went a bit too long I think. I didn't see the last season. I'll watch the last season and the movie at some point.

 

Great show for about 4 or 5 seasons.

I would rather have a show that was centered around just Ari. That's what it looked like they were setting up for on the season finale.

It's weird because it went on too long, but was just a fun show that didn't get serious. I agree it declined, but I don't think most people took it seriously enough to have the decline bother them. I guess it would be like The Simpsons where it's just another episode of the same shit, but is a cool 30 minutes to kill....I think it was 30 minutes.

I just hope they do justice with the movie. I don't even know how you take a show where Vinnie Chase hits the highs and lows of being an actor and make a movie out of it.

Loved the series. In fact I don't think there has been a HBO series I have liked as well since then. I'll see the movie but my expectations will be low.

I thought the last season was much better than the previous 2.  Seasons 1-3 were the best though.  Can't wait the the movie, huge fan of the show.

Loved the trailer. Turtle getting ripped on my Rhonda was awesome. Glad to have Ari back. One of the best characters on tv.

The trailer looked awesome, I cannot wait for the movie to come out!  Can't wait to see what Vinny Chase and the boys will be up to, and also can't wait to see Sloan!
