I don't think it would matter what DC UCLA has, they would never run this kind of D until Mora is gone.  He is too much of a NFL guy, very conservative on D.

I will say this: it's insanely clear to me that this coaching staff is doing a damned good job at this point. I'm so impressed with the improvement in the defense.

I don't know why we abandoned the run, but it was a bad call. You don't go away from what's working against a top 5 team as talented as USC.

The north is much better this year which makes Cal's schedule super rough.  At least you guys don't play Utah.

Still should get to seven wins with wins over AZ, OSU, Colorado and UCLA.

I think Washington could make the playoff. They're pretty good.

It looks like we might have a shot at a bowl, which is surprising.

Also, the defensive coaches said that it was easy to defend WSU and put pressure on due to the limited number of looks they saw from WSU in their game planning. That was the best Cal defensive performance I've seen in a long time, but it may be that WSU needs to change things up p.

Yeah, Washington HAS to win out, because with their schedule, they won't make it as a 1-loss team. They have the worst SOS of the top 35 teams.
