Bourjos has been out since June 30 with a fractured right wrist. The outfielder is 5-for-26 (.192) with 10 strikeouts so far on his minor league rehab assignment. Aug 14 - 5:56 PM

Shuck isn't worthless, he has some skills....a better Reggie Willits perhaps....but his ceiling is a lot lower than Calhoun's.....Calhoun is struggling and may not work out but his skill set and ceiling are light years ahead of Shuck's...at best, Shuck is a 4th OF'er, and that's ok....but Calhoun could be a decent all around OF'er.....so Scioscia will play Shuck....sigh....
