My trip to Greece!

Just returned over the weekend from my 12-day trip to Greece and Turkey. What an amazing journey through some visually eye popping scenery, historical ruins & monuments, great food and culture to take in.

We went to Athens, Corinth, Crete, Thessaloniki, Kastrakiou-Meteoron, Philippi, Santorini, Mykonos, the Island of Patmos and Ephesus for our one stop in Turkey.

Great pics @Chuckster70.  I’ve heard mixed opinions on the people of Greece.  How were you guys treated in Greece?  I’ve heard both.  Some people say they were dicks, some people said they were cool.

Ive heard nothing but great things about Turkey, though.

Everyone I came in contact with in Greece was super nice, @PattyD22. 

But then again, I get along with almost everyone and make friends wherever I go. lol

In Kalabaka, (that's our hotel at the base of the mountain) I walked the streets at night while my wife passed out and met some locals. Super cool people, though I'm not a fan of their signature drink Ouzo.

It tastes like licorice and will get to you fast.

My brother went to Greece on his honeymoon this summer and one of the nights he and my SIL partied all night with RFK Jr’s wife and daughter.
