Yep.  It was a ball that was in between Drury and Adams, but once Drury pulled off, it was an easy, straightforward play for Adams.  He just flat-out botched it.

You have to feel bad for Adams, just minutes off his first hit. But jeez, talk about not ready for prime time? 

And the immediate collapse of Sandoval and the defense? Pathetic and just embarrassing. A team without heart or confidence.

I hate this Rays team. A bunch of scummy players from the DR. Siri knew he didn't catch that ball but wanted a replay. Players that do stuff like that should get fined by MLB.

100% agree. Bad play by Adams but that inning is on Sandoval. 

This team isn't missing players; it's missing leadership. There's a lot of heart but also too many guys collecting checks.

Adams two hits normally would be positive takeaways. But the media likely will dwell on his error. Hopefully he sucks it up and uses it as a motivational reminder about hard work and focus.

Might not make a huge difference, but I wonder why they brought in Barria rather than Herget?  Herget will probably come in at some point, but seems like you'd just want to burn through him for as long as he can go before going to anyone who'll be with the team after tonight.

Rengifo needs to be scalded by Nevin again, it's been too long and he's gotten his head out of the game again.

In this three-game series, Angels starters only went a combined 12 1/3 innings and they gave up 28 baserunners.  Nice work, fellas.

Rengifo is just one guy that better not be on the team next year.

Dude's smiling while he chews gum on the field right now while we're about to give up a bunch more runs. And he does this shit all the time.

Renfroe's lack of speed and coverage in the field has allowed for many hits over the season. Especially the bloop variety. Many big innings and runs have come or been prolonged  indirectly as a result. Won't show up in the box scores, but just another defensive liability. Arm strength doesn't compensate

It might be time to finally cut bait on Barria after this season.  I've generally been ok with him as sort of a "Swiss army knife" kind of guy who can fill different roles, but he has been terrible lately.  He's given up multiple runs in 5 of his last 9 appearances--and in four of those 5 times, it's been three or more runs.
