He has no choice.  I listen to the Ducks announcers each year.  This year they were still pushing the Ducks, as they were about to end up with the worst record in the league, and in their history.

At this point mebbe it's best for Ohtani to leave and the Angels use that 45+ million per year to fill a bunch of holes on this team. Of course that's dependent upon Arte using the 40 - 50 million on improvements and not hiding behind his budget like in most years.

If Arte doesn't end up using the money to fill holes that he was going to use for Ohtani (let's assume that he's gone) then I'm done until he sells the team. Dude really reminds me of Dan Snyder of the Washington Redskins who mercifully finally sold and vacated the premises after torturing 'Skins fans for over 20 years.
