I used to get excited about leadoff doubles. This team has taken that away from me.

According to expect run tables you should score at least one run about 2/3 of the time with men on 2nd/no  outs .  Unless you’re this team.  Then you’ll expect 2/3 of the following bats to whiff.

Maybe they just bunt the runner to third and hope for a wild pitch or passed ball.

Too high for Cron is definitely just too darn high.

Angels have to go 35-14 to even have a shot at the Playoffs.  There's really no room for error at this point.

Following it up with an error so the relief pitcher can come in and tag Sandoval with a loss is also the Angels way.
