This team is so broken. They have had guys all over the bases in every inning.  2 on/no out = automatic strike out.  Snell is not that sharp tonight but gets a K whenever he needs it and now a double play.

Well if Fletcher would have made that play that would have led to an inning ending DP, the score is 0-0. 

But I hear you, the Angels have absolutely SUCKED with RISP.

It is pretty odd how much the offense fails with RISP. It's like the moment is too big for them.

Fletcher is managing to put up worse discipline metrics than previous seasons.  He's actually swinging more often than his career avg.  He's swinging more at balls out of the zone.  He's making less contact than usual and he's got a terrible exit velo.  

Is he stubborn?  Are the coaches stubborn?  His approach and ability scream for him to walk a ton or at least try to.  And yet he's derailed his own career by continually trying something over and over that has been proven over and over not to work.  Watching him bat annoys me.
