The 6 runs in the 3rd might have been even less if Nevin just had someone warming up in the bullpen to take over. It was clear Sandoval was mentally frustrated and let in an additional three runs more in that inning than another pitcher should have. Nevin is retarded. Just like how the other week we were wondering why Estevez  after a day of rest wasn't brought in to a game when we lost to the Royals after leading 8-2 to later find out he was pre-designated to rest for two days. Well he didn't even end up pitching for an entire week between the Dodgers and Rockies series. Good lord.

I disagree.  Sandoval needs to suck it up, he has the talent and the bullpen has been running on fumes.  Plus tomorrow it’s the Diamondbacks, no off day.

This game was another one of those predetermined "let's save the bullpen for the next series" games that'll inevitably backfire when we end up not playing with a late lead for the entire series anyway. Analytics getting in the way of playing to win each individual game. If you stop the bleeding at 4-4 or even 5-4 your chances of winning this game go up a lot.

Great year for Sandoval to decide he isn’t a good major league pitcher. 
 

Another year of not getting expected production out of most of the team. We should be steam rolling on the way to the playoffs and this team just cannot get out of its own god damn way. 
 

So damn frustrating.

Yeah he's by far the biggest disappointment this season for me. Expected him to build off last season and instead he's gone completely downhill. Just not a good pitcher this year at all and if this strikeout rate is here to stay, he won't get back near his previous level.

Angels really gonna need another rotation arm as well as more bullpen help if they're gonna actually stay on pace for one of those WC spots instead of hovering around as a 82-85 win team right now. Offense has its own issues with how poor this lineup is across the board when it comes to hitting with RISP lately too. They gotta figure their shit out there.
